Very delicious pizza, chicken and mojos. They have beer, so that’s a plus. The only letdown was we got served old mojos but right away told cashier and they gave us a fresh batch so make sure you check and get them fresh because they’re so much better. Got the large PCM (pizza, chicken and mojos). Drinks are not included.

Monday April 28, 2025 02:58pm Perfect Time for shakeys. Very close to Kaiser Permanente Sunset. My child had vaccines today. To cheer him up, we stopped at Shakey's 5170 Sunset Blvd Parlor #17 Los Angeles, CA 90027. JOSE C took our order. We got The Medium PCM at 35.99 consists of a Medium 1 topping pizza, half order of Mojos and 4 piece chicken. Each fountain drink is 3.09. Good thing that it's unlimited drink refills. Believe it or not it does feed 3-4 people. We got stuffed! We are 2 adults, 1 teenager and 1 toddler. Took some mojos and pizza left over to go. The restaurant is very clean. Plenty of friendly staff. Everyone wearing the uniform is Latino/Hispanic. Food was delicious. Enjoyed the peace and quiet of a Monday afternoon. Restrooms are clean. They do serve Alcoholic beverages. They have an entire bar. They also have a play area for the kids. Can't complain. The experience was 10/10 due to flavor, service and cleanliness. Highly recommend. Support these stablishments so that they keep the tradition going. They are celebrating their 70th anniversary.
This establishment has been here many years 20. The service from the GM has been outstanding. We had reservations for a small gathering and the customer service was exceptional. The pizza, chicken, potatoes were amazing. I recommend this place for anyone.
I had such a wonderful experience at Shakey! The staff went above and beyond to make me and my daughter feel welcome. The service was attentive, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was perfect for a family meal. It’s not every day you find a place that treats you like family, and I truly appreciate the kindness they showed us. We’ll definitely be coming back! Highly recommend to anyone looking for great food and even better hospitality thank you to the manager that has been there for 40 years
This place is so nice, its clean and all the workers are nice too. Great music and you must definetely try the Chorizo amd Jalapeno pizza!
I needed a place to meet a friend for lunch (3/5) that was basically in the middle between us. Having wanted to check out a Shakey's for a while (because who doesn't love a solid lunchtime buffet deal, right?) this seemed like the perfect opportunity. We were not disappointed. From the moment we walked through the door, the staff were welcoming, asked I needed anything, told me where to order and quickly ran me through everything. The food was tasty and at the better end of what you might expect from a buffet like this - for example, fresh pizza was rolling out constantly and there was always enough choice but never too much stuff so it sat there for ages and dried out under the heat lamps. The salad bar was basic but had what you needed and it always looked fresh. About 10 minutes before the buffet ended, staff let everyone know in case they wanted to grab another plate etc. That is great service. Perfectly managed. People were constantly checking in, cleaning, clearing tables and making sure the food area was tidy, clean and sanitary. Zero issues and highly recommended for solid, mainstream, keep-everyone-happy lunch deal. Whoever is hiring the staff and running this ship deserves a pat on the back. This is a great time going a great job. if you have the buffet, be sure to tip the tables staff too - it might not be traditional table service at lunch if you take the buffet route but they are still working hard to make sure your experience is a good and clean one - and it's great value.
